NACHÉZ, TIVADAR
NACHÉZ, TIVADAR (Theodor Naschitz; 1859–1930), violinist and composer. Born in Pest, Hungary, Nachéz as a boy played with Liszt and studied under joachim in Berlin. In 1889, after settling in London, he embarked on his career as an internationally renowned violin virtuoso. His compositions include Danses Tsiganes, a violin concerto, and a string quartet. He also edited Vivaldi's violin concertos in A minor and G minor.
